The University of Oxford has had tremendous success with its podcasts on iTunesU. Not everyone can access iTunesU and so the University built a Drupal website to mirror how iTunesU worked. You can see this site here – http://podcasts.ox.ac.uk/
Whilst working for the University of Oxford we helped to developed views (a drupal term) for various pieces of content and to give the site structure. We helped to set up the ingestion of various XML data sources to help drive the site and customised some plugins to help smooth this process. We also looked into caching and speed improvements.
One open source drupal module developed for the site is available for others to use – Speed Form Blocks. You can see speed form blocks on each episode page, where it allows a user to send feedback to the podcasts team
